When a card with leverage is destroyed and you don't have enough money to reimburse the bank you must remove cards from your court.
Normally it is the same for Wakhan, right?

It's a specific Wakhan rule: "If Wakhan must discard a Leveraged card and has no coins, Wakhan does not need to discard cards (just as if she had 2 cards in her hand instead)."
