"Scoring during this episode" indicates that each tree is +1 and each rock is -1, but in "Results for this episode" trees are scored as +2 each and rocks are scored as -2 each. "Total" includes the doubling, so it doesn't seem to be just a display error for those two rows.

I don't think this is a bug. Episode 3 has only 2 tree or 2 rock spaces and no single tree or single rock spaces.
