Currently with finnish ristiseiska variant, only 7->6 is enforced, but the rules of it say that you can only play 8 after 6 is on the table for that suit, so the enforced order is 7->6->8 but now the game only enforces initial 7->6.
In other words, you aren't allowed to play 5 next to 6 unless same suits 8 has already been played. After that both 5 and 9 are valid cards to play for that row. -

Raportin historia
As for not getting bug reports on this... I just don't think many just play this variant now because it plays wrong and frankly is kind of pointless to play in it's current form. I know many fellow finnish players who just avoid this game for reasons pointed out on these two bug reports.
At least enforcing the 7->6->8 would make some sense to this variant.
