This has happened to me three times over the past three days (every time I tried to use a custom deck). I get the same error message reported by the other players. The first two times happened when I joined a table that someone else set up. This time, I set up a game with custom decks enabled, and I got the same error.

I am using the a Chrome browser on an OpenSUSE Linux operating system.

I also tried setting up a game from my Apple iPad, as well as accepting a game from the iPad. Each time I got the same error.

F5 did NOT solve the problem, nor did hitting retry several times. I also made sure that I was logged into my account on altered.gg.

I also verified that on the BGA Altered game page, it shows I am linked to altered.gg and that the connection is OK.

@vincentt - Thanks for the advice! That seemed to work! I would encourage anyone else with the same problem to try the fix suggested by @vincentt.

When a game starts, I choose “custom deck” and I get the message “ Pairing with Equinox website has expired or is faulty, please pair it again.”

Some people have said they were able to “unpair” and pair again and it works.

Assuming I understand what is meant by “unpair”, this is also not working for me.

If I go to my account settings, Linked Services, and next to Altered click the red “Revoke Access” button and it just shows “…” and never does anything.

Is there support for this?

The only reason I pay for BGA is to play Altered and I can’t play it…

I fixed mine. Hopefully this helps others.

I play on iPad. Safari by default automatically blocks pop-ups. On BGA, attempt to unlink your Altered account, it needs to be able to open a pop up, so you need to go into Safari Settings and allow popups, at least temporarily.

@noxeor, can you please contact BGA support so they can investigate (as it's outside of game jurisdiction, it must be processed byt hem)

J'ai essayer de faire plusieurs parties et le problème est récurent, impossible de sélectionner mes decks personnalisés.

J'ai rafraichi la page, je me suis déconnecté et reconnecté, rien n'y fait toujours ce même message d'erreur.

C'est d'autant plus frustrant que à cause de ce bug cela entache notre réputation sur le jeu et ça ne donne pas envie de continuer à jouer sur bga à Altered si la solution n'est pas trouvée rapidement malheureusement :/

Please read the previous answers : as advised by the message, you need to unpair and pair your account again.
To unpair, you have to go to your account settings / linked services / revoke access. Make sure to not have POP UP disabled.

Please post here again ONLY IF this does NOT solve the issue.

This is the error message I keep getting. I have logged out and logged back in and it still happens.

What else can I try?

I still can't play the game.

Since I have unpaired my BGA account in order to play custom decks, I get this message " Oops! It appears your account has undergone some kind of alteration, several accounts are logged in at the same time. You can sever the access of these multiple BGA accounts from your Altered account parameters. " and I cannot pair it again.... Is there any way to fix this issue ?
