I had 2x 2s on opposite corners in a 4 card grid and they were scored as a pair. I believe the proper rules are scored by column or row but now corners.• Onko sääntörikkomus nähtävillä pelin toistossa? Jos kyllä, mikä on siirron numero?

Diagonals are not the correct scoring method. It actually says on the game page "Any column or row of the same rank cancels out to zero.". Diagonals are not considered the same row or column.
