If you fear for your privacy because other people know your username, create another user to play incognito. But making your profile public is very interesting to learn how to play better from good players. If it wasn't public, you wouldn't be able to see games you have played before. I have become a paying user to be grateful for how much I have been able to learn in this way, watching players who are much better than me.
