For those of us not familiar with the game, the fact that mines detail that mountains belonging to another player won't give you income, but saloons say nothing about houses belonging to another player will make you think that you will get income for those.
Only when you have built the saloon and notice the income, is when you go and check the rules, but it is too late by then.
