In games like 7 Wonders Duel, I find it frustrating that there is an arbitrary requirement for 50% of the game to be complete before allowing a concession. It is my experience that one can know well before this point that the game is hopeless, and it isn't clear to me what or who this restriction on conceding helps.

I suppose the restriction is also there to prevent stat-boosting by having "friendly" accounts play each other and resign immediately.
