I'm not sure whether I played paper or scissors. If I played paper, then the outcome was correct but the display was wrong. If I played scissors, the outcome was wrong and the display reflected that wrong outcome.
It would be helpful for the game log to say which player played which object in the Rock-Paper-Scissors contest. For example, the last few entires in the game log should look like this:
mattyadams wins this round: Scissors beats Paper.
mattyadams plays Scissors.
Sleevs plays Paper.
Tie: both players picked Rock, try again.
Sleevs wins this round: Paper beats Rock
Sleevs plays an action: Rock-Paper-Scissors Showdown

Yes, thanks for reporting, we noticed this ourselves also.
Problem was the message was always "... beats ...", but choices were always in order of challenger vs defender. This is already fixed now.
Turns out we can't actually resolve/close these bugs and also don't get notifications for new bugs until the game is really in public alfa. Not very convenient.

Processing was correct, just the log messages were in reversed order sometimes. Fixed
