2 bonus types: The bonus is for the player with 1) the largest city and 2) the largest street
The bonus is calculated by the number of finished cities (for largest city bonus) and by the number of largest streets (for largest street type).
This is an actual rule in one expansion, not sure which one. It's really great because it encourages people to finish cities / streets, not even their own!• Mikä on selaimesi?

I think this is a great suggestion. The expansion is:King & Scout. It's a small expansion but works great.
Carcassonne King and Scout is a small expansion. It contains 12 tiles consisting of 5 playable tiles for Carcassonne and Carcassonne The Wheel of Fortune, 2 tiles to keep track of the largest city and longest road, as well as 5 tiles for Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers. The tiles contain combinations that were not included in the main game. The "King" and "Baron" tiles keep track of who has completed the largest city and longest road respectively. The king and baron tiles can be earned by completing a feature that may not necessarily be owned by the current player encouring players to complete each others features. The Players who hold the tiles at the end of the game score 1 point per completed road (for the baron) or 1 point per completed city (for the king), uncompleted features do not score.

Thank you for bringing this up. It's disappointing to see that this issue has remained unresolved for over two years without any updates from the developers. As a passionate player, I appreciate the effort and initiative taken by the community to address these concerns. I hope the developers can provide some insight or updates soon. Keep up the great work in advocating for improvements!
