Could I ask you, if you remember, which user preference you had chosen from the option "Value of "star" VP during game"? I think this information will be helpful in allowing me to reproduce this.
Also if you could explain how you expected the score to update, when it didn't. Was it because you were using the option to add your private VP to the displayed score, or was it because building this building increased your score from a temple you'd previously built? Or perhaps both at once?

Your bug has probably been fixed already, or was linked to a temporary failure of BGA service.
In any case, when filling a bug report, make sure to have an explicit title linked to the incident (ex: with error message), so other players can recognize it and vote for it.
