I agree with the original suggestion. This is similar to other games on BGA (e.g. Sushi Go!, 6 nimmt!) where players can still change their selection if the next phase of the game has not yet started. Perhaps to make this easier to implement, it should be the person to the left of the active player that does BOTH steps, i.e. selects which whim card to guess AND what answer to guess.

Undo options in those games do not affect other players' decision or mess with turn order. Rejected.

Agree that this needs either a confirm or an undo option, and my vote would be for the undo as less obstructive to gameplay that requiring a confirmation.
Especially because clicking on whim cards has a completely different function during any other context of the game (opening the chart for noting possible combinations), which makes it entirely possible to accidentally select a whim card for guessing when you meant to only take notes on available knowledge. We just lost a game for exactly that reason.

I have had this problem ruin a dozen games or so. I disagree with ufm for several reasons:

- the confirmation configuration option does not address the problem for two reasons: first, it asks for confirmation on everything, rather than this specific situation; as noted this is annoying. Second, my games are usually messed up when the other player screws up, and I can’t control their settings

- the BGA guide linked above specifically says that an undo option is warranted here: “ However, if several of the following cases correspond to your situation, you may consider adding an Undo for "misclicks":
If the zone to click is very small, or close to other zones, misclicks may happened frequently. Note that if this only happens on mobile, you can propose the Undo to mobile users only.”

Another possible solution would be to introduce a step before the selection of whim cards where each player says how confident they are that they can guess (click either “I’m confident”, “I could guess “, or “I’d rather not guess “). Then the main player could choose, with a big warning if they pick someone who is less confident than someone else. This seems to fit nicely with the spirit of the game, which encourages collaboration.

Just lost a very good game because of a misclick in the fourth leg to guess a card with little info. A "nevermind, don't guess" option would be much appreciated and appropriate. I don't understand why this option has been rejected and can't think of any circumstance where having this option would negatively impact the game, allow soft cheating, or gain any unfair advantage.

I support the suggestion made above that a better solution than presently available for misclicks must be found for this game. I have played tens of games on BGA, and this is the only one that has caused me, repeatedly, such a high level of frustration because of the poor management of accidental misclicks.

I also support this suggestion. An undo option for accidental clicks would be highly appreciated. I ruined a game few days ago just because of this. I wanted to see the panel just next to the card and clicked the card instead. If an undo option is too much, at least a confirmation option would suffice, in my opinion. Please reconsider it. Thanks.

This has happened twice to my friends and I in only playing 2 or 3 games- it's so easy to accidentally click a card when trying to click the notepad, and then it can completely ruin the whole game. I would highly recommend changing this and adding an undo button or at least maybe making the white box for the notepad a little further away from the cards.
