I do not see this issue anymore. However I am experiencing lag on mobile that I do not on desktop and unsure if it’s just on my end

I have this issue on my iPhone 8+, it does not load in the BGA app, safari, or brave.

@runtly, your issue is actually something separate. The game doesn't currently support old iOS devices (nothing before Safari 13.1 will work currently). I've created a separate new bug report for that boardgamearena.com/bug?id=97646

I have Safari 16, so that shouldn’t be the issue. I’m not sure if the latest fix was supposed to correct this one, but it is still not working for me.

@runtly, can you try copying the URL for one of your Now Boarding games ( like boardgamearena.com/6/nowboarding?table=412708304 ), then opening that same link in Safari's "Private Browsing" mode? It should display the game as if you were a spectator. Does that view display properly or does it also lack the background image?

Also, do you have any extensions installed for Safari, such as an ad-blocker? Try disabling these if you have any and let me know if that solves the problem.

No, private mode didn’t work in the browser, and I have new extensions loaded. Safari still sticks where my previous image shows, but the BGA app now “loads” to the following screen:
