The Forest Shuffle Prototype is now being used for internal tests of the Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor Solo mode.
This prototype follows the FS Solo Mode rules (outlined below).
At the beginning of the game, you’ll choose one of the 15 objectives. Then the game will display the thresholds required to earn a bronze, silver, or gold medal. The game automatically plays Anna’s turns (Automa), but note that it DOES NOT CHECK if you’ve met the objective at the end of the game.
After each game, please report the following to Maren:
* Which challenge you played, whether you completed it or not (and how close you were to succeeding). * Your score. * Any side strategies you used. * Additional comments or feedback.
Rules
Game Preparation
Set up the game as usual, with the following changes:
- Return cards from the draw pile to the box as you would for a 2-player game (45 cards). - Use only **one winter card**, shuffled with the last 10 cards of the draw pile. - Draw 6 cards into your hand and take **Cave 3**. In solo play, Cave 3 is always used, and its effect is resolved before the game begins. - Shuffle the 20 Automa cards to form a face-down Automa deck. - Choose a challenge and decide which medal level to aim for: **bronze, silver, or gold.** This determines your goal and minimum score. - You always take the first turn.
Course of Play
- Play your turns as normal. - On each of Anna’s turns, reveal the top card of the Automa deck and carry out its action.
