Congrats, lostdog! Thanks for joining in on the first official Good Cop Bad Cop tournament. It was a little bumpy but we'll smooth it out for future ones as much as we can within the BGA customization options.

Yes, I'm familiar with removing a player in a game when their time runs out. I should have been clearer in my question. Is it possible to remove them from the tournament altogether?

Is there a way to kick out a participant who isn't actually playing. This makes for a horrible gaming experience for everyone else. I've completed 2 games which didn't end in abandonment or someone getting booted.

Pull the Pin Games Once their time runs out, the players in the game can boot them. Then everyone will get a win except the player you booted who will get a loss. I agree it's not ideal. These tournaments are not setup well for a team game like Good Cop Bad Cop at the moment. Hopefully they add some more customizing options in the future.

I wish there was an option in the tournament settings for 1 point for 1st and 0 points for everyone else, but sadly, there isn't. The best we can do is 6 points for first, 5 for second, 3 for third, 1 for fourth, and 0 for everyone else.

That would be better than the point awards than what is being used in this tournament, but the problem is that most games would finish with only 1st and 2nd place finishers, which awards everyone either 6 or 5 points. But if someone drops or runs out of time, it would distribute 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. based on how much time you have left. It would means that you might get ~1 point just because you were in a game where someone ran out of time. That would be pretty much impossible to come back from in a tournament.

I submitted a suggestion to BGA to add a point distribution that works better for team games if you feel like up-voting it: /bug?id=77761

Wow, the points don't make much sense in this tournament. Sorry about that... this is the first tournament I've run. I'll fix make them make more sense in the next tournament.
