wolmotTervetuloa Star Fluxx opastukseen! Just like the original Fluxx, a game of Star Fluxx will have *constantly changing rules and goals*. But this time it all happens in space and with science fiction themed cards. Expect some chaos, embrace it and use it to your advantage! 1baseRuleCard

wolmotHere in the middle are the current rules for the game. The game starts out as *Draw 1, Play 1*. That simply means on every person's turn they will draw 1 card and then *must* play 1 card. Whenever a new draw rule or play rule is played it will replace the current one, and will take effect immediately. 2baseRuleCard

wolmotOver here is where the current goal will be displayed. Like the basic rules, when a new goal is played the old one is discarded. Whoever satisfies the requirements of the goal card, immediately wins the game. As you can see, the game starts without any goal: currently, it is impossible to win!3goalsStock

wolmotOur opponent started the game by playing a blue *Action* card. They let you perform variious actions like swapping hands, drawing cards, stealing cards, and more. You do exactly what they say and then they are discarded. (This one let opponent draw 2 extra cards, that they must play)1flxDeckBlock

wolmotThe first card they must play from their Action, is this pink *Goal* card. No nyt on mahdollista voittaa! If anybody would own the Starship + Evil card, they would now have won.1goalsStock

wolmotOkei, sinun vuoro! You drew 1 card (the yellow outline reminds you which are the last new cards you drew). We already know the goal cards, but you also have 2 green *Keepers*. Usually keepers are just stuff you need to satisfy a goal, but some also have various special abilities. Like *The Computer*, which allows you to draw and play 1 additional card each turn. wolmotAll keepers played are placed on the table in the keeper area here. Only the keepers you have collected here, can help you satisfy a goal to win.1flxMyKeepers

wolmotNormally your turn would be over now. But with The Computer bonus, you got to draw an extra card and also get to play another. All those goals don't help much now, so let's put another keeper on the table.3handStock

wolmotOne opponent also just played a keeper, but the other placed this yellow *New Rule* card. Suddenly we are only allowed to have a maximum of 4 keepers in play! Likewise, there might also be a Hand Limit rule played. New rules always take immediate effect, but the active player only needs to comply with the Limit rules at the end of their turn.1limitsStock_item_15

wolmotYour turn again, but this hand is quite useless. The action would do nothing since currently there are no living keepers in play that we could beam up, and none of the goals are really interesting at this point. But, we still have to play 2 cards, so let's just burn through some of the goals.2handStock

wolmotNäetkö mitä tapahtui? An opponent played the action *Brain Transference* and targeted you. All hand cards but also all your keepers have been interchanged. That's how quickly things can change.1handStock

wolmotThat switch gave you a new type of Action card: *Surprise* cards can be used like normal actions, but also have a special *out of turn* ability. You could use this one to intercept a goal someone wants to play, thus maybe preventing their victory!1handStock_item_7

wolmotBut in this case, that goal won't help anybody. So you can just let it pass, and retain your surprise for a better time.2button_1

wolmotAha, this will allow us to draw more cards at the start of each turn. Of course, this will also benefit our opponents, but let's take a shot.1handStock

wolmotOuch, one of the extra cards we drew was a black *Creeper*. These are bad versions of keepers, that you are forced to play immediately. They will really bug you, because as long as you have a creeper you cannot win even if you satisfy the normal goal!1flx_help_msg

wolmotEven worse, these creepers will *attach and infect* your keepers, depending on the type: - *Evil* can attach to any keeper - *Brain Parasites* will attach to living beings (keepers with *brains*) - *Malfunction* will attach to any *equipment* keeper5flx_help_msg

wolmotIn this case, unfortunately you will have to select your Laser Sword to become malfunctioning.6flxMyKeepers

wolmotWe are getting more cards and more options now. This *Creeper Reassignment* action can let you get rid of that pesky creeper.1flxMyHand

wolmotFor complex actions with multiple steps, you will see some game help explaining how to proceed. Maybe it's a good idea to select our Malfunction creeper and move it to Sperrow6 to break down the Computer they stole from us earlier.1flx_help_msg

wolmotMalfunction has been detached and moved, and now you get to choose to which equipment keeper of the target player it should attach. Let's select the Computer as planned.1keepersStock87353500

wolmotNotice that your turn would normally be over. But an extra rule was played that grants you an optional free action. Any new rules or keepers that grant you such free actions, will appear on top as action buttons. If you have no plays left and don't want to take anymore optional actions, you will explicitly have to finish the turn. But let's take a guess, and see what comes out the Wormhole!1button_rule_66
