The MGTIn *Small Islands* you have been sent out to explore a magnificent archipelago in the blue immensity. Find the natural resources as well as the temples of an ancient civilisation at the heart of these many islands. ...which are completely undiscovered so far!1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
The MGTA game is played in a *maximum of 4 rounds*. At the beginning of each round, you secretly choose an objective card. This card indicates the objective to achieve at the end of the round and the prestige points that you can earn. [green][tip] The player with the most prestige points at the end of the game is the winner.[/green] Choose the highlighted objective card for [green]this round[/green].2playerHandWrap010playerHand_item_1 3
The MGTWell done! Now select the middle objective card as [red]reserved[/red] for the [red]next round[/red]. In the next round you can choose between this card and two randomly drawn cards. The third objective card is then discarded unused.1playerHandWrap64c30341e628910playerHand_item_5 1
The MGTAfter all players have decided on objective cards, the *exploration phase* begins. Each turn, you must perform one of the two following actions: *Either* draw and place 1 [red]landscape tile[/red] *or* draw and place 1 [blue]ship tile[/blue]. The ship tiles only become available later, once the [green]navigation stack[/green] has been used up. The MGTAfter you have placed a tile, you can *optionally* place a [red]bonus token[/red] to change resources on islands. We'll try that out right away. The bonus tokens have a front and a back, you have to choose one side. The MGTThe navigation stack is now used up and the playable ship tiles ([blue]neutral[/blue] and [red]your own[/red]) are unlocked. Taken landscape tiles are refilled from the [green]reserve stack[/green] as of now. The MGTNow, let's decide to play a *ship tile* and thus initiate the *reward phase*. The MGTCongratulations, you have earned your first 5 prestige points: There are three flowers on this island, each of which earns you one point, plus 2. The MGTAt the end of the game, you get one *additional prestige point* for each *anchor on the eight tiles* around *your* ship. This is the one not yet played with [red]your colour[/red].
