gideon142In dragon bridge you play cards from your hand to either [blue]move yourself to the exit[/blue] or [red]bump the opponent towards the dragon.[/red]2myhand_wrap

gideon142At the start of the game you are assigned a [red]character. [/red]All the characters have different powers so make sure to read what you can do. *To view your character hover over the highlighted spot on the player profiles.* 3panel_playerIcon2

gideon142Each turn there are *four phases,* action, gem, dragon check, draw. In the action phase you play a card. We will talk about the gem phase and dragon check phase later. In the draw phase you draw back up to four cards.4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

gideon142*There are two win conditions* in this game [blue]escaping from the board,[/blue] or [red]having the other player be eaten by the dragon.[/red]5archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

gideon142The five spaces[red] on each side of the board are escape spaces.[/red] To win with the escape victory you must be standing on a escape space and use a card that lets you move.6threatened_image

gideon142However the *dragon* will eat you after your gem phase if you are standing on the *THREATENED* tiles.7threatened_image

gideon142While on the topic of the dragon lets talk about the *nest.*Whenever you play a card it gets put in the nest. Near the bottom of each card there are a number of wing icons.8archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

gideon142[red]If there are 9 wings in the nest, the dragon moves to the other side of the board during the dragon check phase.[/red] [blue]If there are 7 cards in the nest before 9 wings, Then the dragon does not move, and the nest gets reset.[/blue]9archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

gideon142Your opponent just played a card to bump you 2 spaces and discard a movement card from your hand.1castingCard_wrap

gideon142 Bump the opponent towards you. so you can move a space after with the gale cards power. (to do this click on the little blue button on the blue start space)1db_bridge

gideon142Time to talk about the *gem phase.* If you land on a space with a gem on it you can pick it up. Gems allow you to teleport two spaces (note that teleporting does not count as moving for escaping the board) gems are also used/gained by certain cards. This was all about green gems which are different than white gems.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

gideon142Items are also for sale for 3 gems in the card market, which you can find if you scroll down. Although they didn't come up in this game they could be more prominent in other games.2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

gideon142There are also white gems, you gain a white gem after using a bump card. they can be used to buy bridge hacks from the card market which have one time use effects, such as moving the opponent to the opposite side of the board.3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment
