Your mission is to solve the arcane riddles presented by the Fates, avoiding the ever-looming Doom that threatens to engulf you all. Hanisa[red]The Arcana Cards:[/red] At the top of your screen, you'll see a row of Arcana cards. Each of these mystical cards has a unique rule or riddle that dictates how you can place your Fate tokens. Think of them as the puzzles you need to solve together! You can zoom, or hold on each card to read its text better.2card_id_34

Hanisa[green]Your Fate Tokens:[/green] You’ll find two Fate tokens at the bottom of the screen. These represent the numbers you’ve secretly drawn. Your job is to place one of these tokens [blue]under an Arcana card[/blue] that follows the rules. Remember, only you know what the other token is—keep it hidden, but give your crew a clue by placing the first token wisely!3hand_token_space_1

Hanisa[red]The Hours Card:[/red] This card sits just on the right side of the Arcana cards. It keeps track of the round you're currently in. The Hours card is crucial because it indicates how much time (and how many turns) you have left before the end of the game. Manage your time well! 4hours_card

Hanisa[red]The Doom Track:[/red] This is your countdown to disaster. Located prominently on the screen, the Doom track starts at 0 (in easy mode) and ticks closer to 7 with each incorrect guess. If it hits 7, it’s game over. Keep your crew on track to avoid doom!5red_token

Hanisa[green]Green score tracker: [/green] This one tracks your points. If it hits 7 before the red Doom tracker, YOU WIN :D 6green_token

Hanisa[red]The Arcana Cards Deck:[/red] To the bottom, you’ll notice the deck of Arcana cards. As the game progresses and Arcana cards on the board are filled with tokens, they’ll be retired and replaced with new cards from this deck. Each new Arcana card introduces fresh challenges, so keep an eye on what’s coming next!7card_id_8

Hanisa[blue]The Number Line Tokens:[/blue] Below your name and your teammate's name, you’ll see the Number line tokens, ranging from 1 to 7. These tokens are used to make guesses and track the numbers that have been revealed or deduced so far. Pay attention to these as they provide vital clues for narrowing down possibilities!8overall_player_board_95163654

HanisaEnough chit-chat :D Let's play... As you can see it's our turn to play. When it’s your turn, you’ll see [red]two Fate tokens[/red] at the top of the screen. We should select one to place under an Arcana card that matches the rule and also give your team the best clue to find out what is your hidden fate.9hand_token_space_1

HanisaThere are 3 available Arcanas that we can play on. If we play our "one" fate on THE BEAST, our teammate will find out that the hidden fate is 1 more or one less than the fate we played. Now first select THE BEAST Arcana and then select your "one" fate.10card_id_34

HanisaLots of things happened :D With our nice move, our team guessed the hidden fate correctly, and [green]The Score tracker[/green] went one step forward. 1hours_card

HanisaEach Arcana card has an amount of time before it will fade indicated by the number of moon phases shown. For example [blue]The THIEF[/blue] will fade after two hours. THE BEAST Arcana we played earlier had an hour duration. Each fate toke consumes different hours of Arcana cards we play. Fate tokens from 1 to 3 consume an hour, from 4 to 6 consume two hours and the 7 fate consume 3 hours. (You can see the number of the dots on right side of each token)2card_id_8

HanisaIn The Shipwreck Arcana, each Arcana card not only presents a riddle but also holds a hidden power known as its Faded Power. This mystical ability activates when the card is filled with Fate tokens and is about to be retired (replaced by a new Arcana card). [blue]Since we consumed all hours of THE BEAST Arcana Card, it faded and gave us its power.[/blue]3card_id_34

HanisaNow it's our teammate's turn to play his fate. He played [red]2[/red] under [blue]THE IMAGO Arcana.[/blue]1card_token_space_1

HanisaSince this Arcana won't give us any specific data, We can assume that he couldn't use the other Arcana cards. So he didn't have another 2 [blue](SAME ARCANA)[/blue], also he didn't have 1,3,4 [green](WITHIN 2 ARCANA)[/green], and if he had 7 he could play 7 on THE IMAGO card instead of 2. 2card_id_2

HanisaIn this tutorial, the Doom tracker didn't move at all (Cause we are so good at this game :D) You should know when Doom tracker moves: 1. If the Arcana card fades and you didn't make a correct guess, The Doom tracker advances by 2. 2. If you predict the fate wrong, The Doom tracker advances by 1. Hanisa[blue]ENDING THE GAME[/blue] The game ends when one of the score trackers reaches the 7th spot on The Hours’ score track. [green]▶ The players win by making 7 correct predictions (green score tracker reaches 7).[/green] [red]▶ The players lose if their doom reaches 7 (red doom tracker reaches 7).[/red]2green_token
